Bridechka and the Wedding

Hello all, I am young Russian/Jewish/American girl (i.e. a Bridechka) planning her wedding in New York City. After much exasperation and frustration with all of the fluffy, stuffy, pricey and just plain boring wedding venues, flowers, favors, etc... I decided to start this blog to share my insights, inspirations, and ordeals in this process. I hope this blog can be a place where practical, modern, and chic brides and grooms can come together help each other out...I'm looking at you folks...

I am a big winner!

I WON a pink Breast Cancer Awareness wedding garter from Julianne Smith! I am such a lucky ducky! Julianne makes amazing stuff! Check the merchandise ...

Bridechka said...: hey esb, I am not doing a garter/bouquet toss but I will wear it under my dress and feel a little sexy knowing that its there. It kind of like wearing some naughty underwear underneath my work clothes ... no one else knows its there but it gives me a smile or two throughout the day thinking about it ...
