Not feeling very weddingy today ...

Because I have my housewarming on the brain .... I will be making lots of yummy things for our house warming party tonight and will try to take some pics and post along the way. I know its not wedding-related but since I am not super artsy like most of the other blogger brides, I have to showcase what I can actually do well .... cook! And trust, your girl can cook. F* Scrubs!

The Big Guy and I are sitting here watching the finale of one of our fave shows: Scrubs. And right as it is about to end and we are about to drift happily off to bed, both our mouths drop open .... the stupid finale stole our effing first dance song! And we thought we were gonna be sooooo original ... not so, I guess :(

Eff ... do we need to find a new song now??? I don't wanna!

Don't worry, I am still devoted to my cotton bouquet .... but you know occasionally a girl just likes to browse, check out her options, see what's out there .... looking isn't cheating right?

This is me today. The bar results for NY are being released today and I can't really think about much of anything else. Here's hoping that the next post is a happy one.

You know about my devotion to "bendy lilies" but these are so cute, I might be changing my mind .... oh but, minus the butterflies ... they are just not my cup of tea ... the pretty simplicity going on here, on the other hand, is exactly what I am about.

Favors to DIY for

I am totally loving this Choose Your Own Favor idea. The table was stocked with books, tea, and food. Guests were asked to select a favor of their choosing ... kind of fantastic no? Oh yes. I think I would add tiny bottles of alcohol too ... you know for the Ruskies ...... and the Big Guy's frat brothers .... but mostly the Ruskies.
