Equality should not be a privilege reserved for a select few, it is a right to be enjoyed by everyone.

Hello all, I am young Russian/Jewish/American girl (i.e. a Bridechka) planning her wedding in New York City. After much exasperation and frustration with all of the fluffy, stuffy, pricey and just plain boring wedding venues, flowers, favors, etc... I decided to start this blog to share my insights, inspirations, and ordeals in this process. I hope this blog can be a place where practical, modern, and chic brides and grooms can come together help each other out...I'm looking at you folks...

I just stumbled upon your blog and I just added it to my daily must reads...it wonderful! Thanks so much for your support of marriage equality.
Thanks!! I am so glad you like the blog :)
This is an issue I feel really passionate about. From a moral standpoint, to me, it feels like a no brainer (equality, love, who could possibly take issue with these things?!?) but also as a legal scholar (and by that I mean recent law school graduate haha) I feel really strongly that law stands behind the marriage equality movement. Whether it be the letter of the law in the Constitution or even the spirit of our legal system, they both land firmly in the side of equal rights especially when it comes to the fundamental right of marriage.
phew .. that was a mouthful ... bottom line: your welcome and you deserve strong support from those of us who have been arbitrarily granted the rights that you have been denied.
you rock! i wish everyone was as accepting as you :) thanks again!
