Bridechka and the Wedding

Hello all, I am young Russian/Jewish/American girl (i.e. a Bridechka) planning her wedding in New York City. After much exasperation and frustration with all of the fluffy, stuffy, pricey and just plain boring wedding venues, flowers, favors, etc... I decided to start this blog to share my insights, inspirations, and ordeals in this process. I hope this blog can be a place where practical, modern, and chic brides and grooms can come together help each other out...I'm looking at you folks...

My venue

I signed the contract this morning and the Big Guy is faxing it in today ... so in exactly 270 days, 19 hours, 35 minutes and 20 seconds I will be saying beautiful words to my beautiful man at the beautiful TRIBECA ROOFTOP. I will do a full detailed post on the venue tomorrow but in the meantime I am off to squeal with joy!
