So of course I got caught up and stopped documenting the food at some point but I do have a few more photos for ya. First, the truffles. Sorry about the picture quality on this photo and the next (took them on my phone, during the actual party ... my guests thought I had finally lost my mind). The truffles are coated with almonds and pistachios.
I also made seared tuna, which had a sesame crust. The tuna is below with a creamy wasabi sauce. Then I also made a salmon mouse ...
Then I used a frosting bag to pipe the mouse onto cucumber slices.
The party was raging success (and not just because of the food .... although it helped .... it was mostly because of the booze .... and my fantastic friends!) Hope your Friday was as great as mine :)

and by the way, yum!!! Everything looks so delish!
Hope you had a good friday! (mine was somewhat non-eventful, but I wasn't invited to anything so fantastic!!!)
In fact, I think I ate left over pizza.
Um, when did you become THIS domestic? Everything looks great tho. Makes me even sadder I coudln't make it.
Thanks everyone! If anyone wants recipes let me know and I will email them to you.
Irina, haha I object to the term domestic but man you don't even have a clue, for Mother's day I made muffins, scones, popovers and the Big Guy made a yummy quiche.
