Simple, modern, beautiful... check, check, check! ... And potentially doable for me and Yevs regardless of our lack of floral abilities, no? I think yes!

Hello all, I am young Russian/Jewish/American girl (i.e. a Bridechka) planning her wedding in New York City. After much exasperation and frustration with all of the fluffy, stuffy, pricey and just plain boring wedding venues, flowers, favors, etc... I decided to start this blog to share my insights, inspirations, and ordeals in this process. I hope this blog can be a place where practical, modern, and chic brides and grooms can come together help each other out...I'm looking at you folks...

Gorgeous! And, totally do-able, I might add. So, you going to do it?
You could even do it with silk flowers - and do them in advance! Less work that way!
Krista: Oooh silk flowers is a good call, thanks for the tip :)
Amanda: Hmmm, not sure yet... but I will definitely keep you posted.
Just lovely - there definitely seems to be a theme developing of, for want of a better description, bendy lilies.
Haha, it is so true, I am a big fan of the bendy lilies. There is just something so simple lovely about them.
Wow those are simply stunning and lilies always make a table look chic!
Now that I'm a bride-to-be ever since my fiance proposed to me with a gorgeous diamond engagement ring from www.idonowidont.com I want to create DIY crafts for our upcoming wedding.
This totally inspires me to make my own centerpieces, I just hope it looks as gorgeous as this!
100% doable and you can transport them too without too much hassle. Plus living in NYC you have access to those great flower markets. Perfect!
completely doable!
